As a for artists, by artists company, Goby TV uniquely positions itself as a comprehensive resource enabling creators to take their ideas directly from conception to audience, entirely circumventing traditional industry middlemen. We empower independent creators by providing tools, resources, and direct revenue streams, thus maintaining their creative vision and control throughout the production and distribution processes. This approach ensures that creators retain maximum autonomy, profitability, and audience engagement, transforming the way independent television content is created and consumed. Our primary goal is to establish a genuine middle class for creators in the television industry, allowing artists to sustainably earn a living while producing innovative and authentic content. Goby Social is the our community of Goby Artists. Only people that are part of a project on our platform can join. 

Only artists, who have had a project on the Goby platform, can leave and see messages on videos. If you love a video or series, please contact them though their social media and let them know. They would love to hear from you! 

At Goby TV, we’re looking for original content only, fresh, independent work that hasn’t been distributed on mainstream platforms. We accept a wide range of formats, including scripted series, documentaries, animation, music shows, talk shows, experimental works and performance pieces. Whether it’s drama, comedy, culture, or a new genre entirely, your unique voice is what we’re here for. We do not accept re-posted content, fan edits, or clips from existing mainstream media.

Once uploaded, please email your name and contact information (along with the name of the video you submitted) to CONTENT@GOBYTV.COM. Any videos uploaded without proper contact information will not be considered.

Our profit-sharing model will shift artists compensation forever. We are creating a true middle class for independent creators. Profits are shared, with the artist receiving 40% of the net revenue generated by the platform's content. No more begging for clicks. To protect the value of this model, we will limit the number of videos accepted on the platform, avoiding over saturation and ensuring that revenue is meaningfully shared among a curated pool of creators. Additionally, creators whose content ranks in the top 10% of monthly viewership will receive a monthly bonus. Artists will receive detailed monthly sales reports outlining every dollar earned, along with a breakdown of platform revenue, ad spend, and viewer trends.

No, for the time being accounts are only given to artists who have content on the Goby platform. However we will soon be launching Goby Originals. Goby Originals will require a subscription in order to view them. 

Our content is available for streaming only and cannot be downloaded directly to your device. However, you can access it anytime. If you're using our mobile app, you can save videos for offline playback, allowing you to watch your chosen videos later without an internet connection.
